Normal Skin Care Tips

Normal skin has an even tone, soft, a smooth texture, no visible pores or blemishes, and no greasy patches or flaky areas. Normal skin types can tolerate the vast majority of skin protection creams. With proper skin care your fresh appearance is easily maintained. Makeup looks smooth and lasts well; may experience minor breakouts related to a "big night out", hormones, or stress. Smooth moisturizer onto your entire skin, concentratingon the drier areas. Then blot-off any excess from the oily areas with a tissue. Watch for any premature aging under eyes, as this area tends to need more moisture due to lack of sebaceous (oil) activity; may experience minor breakouts relating to hormonal cycle.

Normal skin may be said to have nothing obviously wrong with it, and no sensations of discomfort. It results from a balance of the normal skin functions (including new skin cells being formed and old ones being lost, together with well-controlled water loss, sebum secretion and sweating). This creates a balanced state of suppleness, elasticity, color and hue which is often characteristic of pre-adolescents. Normal skin can quite quickly become 'abnormal', however. Failure to look after it, or abuse by sun, wind or cold, may lead to dry and damaged skin and ultimately the risk of premature development of lines and wrinkles.

Normal skin has the perfect balance of water and lipids, providing enough hydration to reduce early signs of skin ageing. An even skin tone and lack of blemishes makes this the ideal skin type. -It glows with an inner health which stems from good blood circulation and excellent health. In the evening, switch to a cream cleanser, to ensure the dry areas of your skin are kept clean and soothed on a daily basis. This will give you a balance between excess oiliness or sryness. There may be occasional pimples in women just before menstruation due to increased hormonal activity, which makes the sebaceous glands overactive. Acne is, however, not a problem for people with normal skin. It is beautiful, but it needs care if it is to last.

There is a perception out there (perhaps formed from the products marketed to combination skin) that combination skin is always an excessively Oily T-Zone. In turn most people considering themselves to have combination skin over treat the skin with harsh products aimed primarily at reducing sebum production and not treating the normal or dry areas of the skin. To freshen your skin, you need to use two different strengths of toners. Choose a stronger astringent for the oily areas, and a mild freshener for the drier ones. It is essential for normal / combination skin to maintain moisture levels while protecting the skins natural protective barrier whilst also addressing any areas prone to dryness or excessive oil production.

Normal skin care Tips

  • Eye make-up should always be removed carefully. Going to bed with mascara on can lead to sore, puffy eyes. Applying new make-up on the top of stale makeup is positively urthygenic too.
  • Cool your skin with a freshening toner.
  • Dot moisturizer onto your face, then massage it with your fingertips using light, gentle upward strokes.
  • Splash your face with water, then massage in a gentle facial wash and work it up to a lather for about 30 seconds. Take this opportunity to lightly massage your face, as this will boost the supply of blodd to the surface of your skin - which will result in a rosier complexion.
  • Rinse with clear water, then pat your face with soft towel to absorv residual water from the surface of your skin. Do not rub eyes.
