Vitamins are necessary for healthy skin. Vitamin A helps with fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin E is a very helpful antioxidant controls the free radicals.. Vitamins B-3 (niacin) and B-5 (pantothenic acid) are very well known summations to skin-care products because of their property to assist in sustaining moisture.

Vitamin B-3 is a very new medicine but has exhibited great promise, it offers a mild selection to acidic exfoliators like glycolic and salicylic acid, which people consider too abusive for their complexions. B-5 is a more common skin-care additive, and is broadly recognised for its (along with Vitamin E) moisturizing ability.

Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is considered to be one of skin-care’s hot sellers due to its sure treatment as an antioxidant. Antioxidants are the best and natural protection against the “free radicals,” unstable molecules which ages the skin. Topical Vitamin C can protect the skin from UV damage caused by prolonged sun exposure by humiliating the amount of free radical formation.

Vitamin-E (alpha tocopherol) is another powerful antioxidant that is normally used in lotions and creams for its moisturizing cpacity. Vitamin E and vitamin C have antioxidant features and because of this fact, they help a great deal in protecting us in any kind of skin damage.

1. Always wear a moisturizer with a sun protection factor (SPF), even on a cloudy day.

2. Apply your sunscreen 15 minutes before hitting the sun to give it time to be absorbed.

3. Reapply your sunscreen regularly, not just after swimming. Remember that even a waterproof lotion can be rubbed off by your towel.

4 . Know your spf. Every body can stayout in the sun for an average of five to ten minutes with out burning the number on the bottle indicates how much you can multiply this by when protected by the sunscreen. Remember that spf are not cumulative-rubbing in a factor 10 on top of a factor 20 does not give you spf 30.

5 . Wear a higher spf on your face than on your body, as this is the area you will most want to protect from ageing.

6. Have moles checked regularly, particularly any that appear after exposure to the sun.

7. Always wear sunglasses with uv-filtered lenses to protect your eyes from the glare of the sun.

Cleansing of body removes perspiration, grease, dust, trite make up, dirt and bacteria from by the skin. Facial cleansers uncork skin pores and help to prevent acne and other skin breakouts. Good face cleansers are items which clean and rinse your face and offer a different freshness to your face. Good face cleansers involve mild and natural gels, lotions and creams that provide a soothing softness to your skin.

A good face cleanser offers a lot of benefits to people using the items. It gives a calm and soothing sensation to the skin, purges surface bacteria, imparts new and fresh skin texture, and removes excess toxins from the skin. The facial cleansers are made of natural ingredients and show no side effects. So these cleansers are suitable for any skin type.

The facial cleansers offer quick freshness and softness to your face. Soaps will be used to reduce the oil on the surface of the skin removing the dirt at the same time. Soaps are basically made of salts of fatty acids. The most commonly used fats come from animal and vegetable sources and include stearic acid, palmitic, oleic, as well as lauric. Soap particles will cover the fat droplets in that dirt is entrenched and then will allow these to be removed by water.

Soaps can be irritating to the skin, the clearance of the protective fat layer can lead to drying. A high pH of skin can also be irritating. Soaps can also affiliate with the calcium and magnesium found on the surface of the skin to form fatty acid salts which of themselves become irritating. The skin’s acidity may be affected.

Mild soaps are designed to reduce irritations. Acne cleansers are usually used to remove accumulated oil, make-up, sweat, and dirt on the surface of your skin. Applying chemical products to your face, you can use natural ingredients that will convey a rich and fresh glow to your face.

Natural ingredients involve turmeric powder, chickpea powder, cucumber pastes, yogurt mixtures, chamomile and rosemary tops, almond, honey, vitamin A/E and mix them with milk, rosewater, glycerin cleansers and curd to prepare face cleansing pastes. These cleansers are applied twice to thrice a day, and reduce freckles, blemishes, intensify the softness and glow of the face. Fragrances are commonly used to conceal the odours of the raw ingredients of soaps.

Essential oils are stemed from plants and have been around for thousands of years. The essential oils are garnered from the seeds, leaves, roots, and even the skins of the plants. The oils are what gives plants and flowers its fragrances. Essential oils are extremely beneficial for the skin. Essential oils are reinvigorating agents in that they facilitate the elimination of waste and dead cells and promote regeneration of new healthy cells. Added to a carrier oils such as avocado, olive and sweet almond, the oils are moisturizing, nourishing and a protector by helping the skin gaining its natural moisture.

Essential oils are like the missing link for the skin due to their high antioxidant qualities. These antioxidant qualities fight the free radicals that are floating around in our environment, and in exact help prevent free radicals from penetrating our skins.

Essential Oils perforate the surface of the skin, going to the basal layer where new skin cells are being formed. They incite the skin’s metabolism, help form healthy cells and strengthen collagen and elastin fibres as well as the cells themselves. The most popular essential oils for skin care is sandalwood. It is a great oil for acne and skin infections in general. Use a teaspoon full of betonite clay, about half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 5 drops of sandalwood.

Mix all this together and add more clay or vinegar to get a creamy consistency. Apply this all over your face and neck and let sit for 5 mins at least. Doing this at least once a week should give you great results. Palmarosa oil is well known for it’s moisturizing and hydrating properties as well as it’s actualize ability to stimulate cell regeneration. Clary-Sage (Salvia scalrea) is another great oil for skin and it also does a fantastic job with wrinkles and fine lines as well. Normally 3 drops to every pump/squeeze of moisturizer is more than enough.

Other good oils contains Jojoba with a little. Evening Primrose or Rosehipseed oil added. Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) oil works great for wrinkles like Clary-sage and is also signified for disturbed and sensitive skin, as well as broken capillaries and can be used on either oily or dry skin. This is another one which can be summed to the moisturizer. Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) is another one of my favorite wonder oils. Tea tree oil is wonderful for spot treating. It removes pimples in a two days or less and greatly reduces their re-ocurence due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory power.

Lavender (Lavendula Angustifolium, officinalis) is a wonderful skin care oil. It also useful in treating wounds, burns and skin care. Lavender does an wonderful job at balancing oil production in the skin as well as clearing imperfections and evening skin tone. Five drops or less is a good quatity to begin with in a tablespoon amount of any of these. This is also one of the oils which can be used straightly on the skin without worry so there is very little issue of using too much. Jasmine, Neroli and Rose Otto are great essential oils for skin care.

These are good for all types of skin but specially for mature and aging skin. Other oils good carrier oils for your skin are Hazelnut oil, Sesame oil , Wheat germ oil and Vitamin E. The Wheat germ and Vitamin E should be mixed with other carrier oils as only minute amounts of these are required. Lemon is a photosensitizer (raises the skins reaction to sunlight making it more probably to burn) so it should not be used when exposureto sunlight or tanning beds. Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face. This will make the skin glow. Selecting the right lotion for your skin is essential to assure that perfect glow.

Skin Care Tips

1. Choosing the right lotion for your skin is essential to ensure that perfect glow.

2. Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face . This will make your skin glow.

3. A healthy diet is vital.

4. A mixture of crushed mint leaves and oats will reduce pimples. Leave this for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water.

5. Make a paste with sandal wood and turmeric and apply it on the face.

6. Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face . This will make the skin glow.

7. Exercise is also a good component to skin care.

8. Apply the mixture of tomato juice and honey on the face and neck , wash it after 15 minutes.

Your skin requires more attention in summers when due to sweating it is always sticky, requiring frequent washing. Due to exposure to the sun and hot winds the skin becomes carped and complexion becomes sallow. Moreover, the pores get clogged due to perspiration and the skin cannot breathe.

If you have a greasy skin, steaming once a week is advisable, if you have a dry skin steam it once a fortnight. For steaming, a special electrical gadget is used. But if you are trying it at home, the procedure to follow is simple – boil water in a pot and place your face on it so that the rising steam comes on your face. Spread a towel on your head to save the steam from escaping and going waste. Four to five minutes of steaming is sufficient. After this, sprinkle your face with ice cold water so as to close the open pores. Regular steaming keeps the skin glowing.
